Propylene Glycol

Propylene glycol is a synthetic substance that absorbs water, and is often used as a commercial lubricant and is a key component in antifreeze and deodorant sticks. It's also used in fast food and grocery store products as a solvent to make spice concentrates, as well as food colorings and flavorings and can be found in such foods as Subway's breakfast sandwich and other fast food items.
